Patient-matched 3D-printed orthoses

Your hand deserves the best.
Swibrace is modernising the approach to orthopaedic immobilisation with 3D-printed splints designed to fit precisely to each patient's anatomy. Our lightweight, durable, breathable (allowing showering or swimming) splints reduce the risk of infection, support muscle strength and promote optimal hygiene for rapid functional recovery.
"Swibrace splints are the result of a unique collaboration between surgeons, occupational therapists and engineers during an Innosuisse research project. Our splints provide superior support. Mechanical tests and prospective clinical studies on volunteers and patients have demonstrated the superiority of our splints in terms of immobilisation quality and comfort. Our splints comply with European MDR standards. From an environmental point of view, our splints are biodegradable.

Why choose Swibrace?

Hygienic

Our splints are ventilated, limiting the risk of infection. The skin does not macerate. Our splints can be worn next to the skin, or alternatively with a thin cotton pad in between. They can be washed cold. Our splints can be worn in the shower or swimming pool.

Comfortable

Lightweight and perfectly adapted to the patient's morphology, our splints provide superior orthopaedic support and can be worn for long periods without discomfort. Because the splints are so thin, they can be covered with warm clothing and gloves in winter. It is also possible to continue certain professional and sporting activities. We've developed an original fastening system: instead of the traditional Velcro fasteners, which come unstuck and catch, the splint closes with an adjustable clip tab.

Rapid production

The therapist uploads the optical scan of the limb to be immobilised onto our platform, selects the most suitable brace virtually, and in just a few minutes and a few clicks adapts it anatomically to the scanned limb. Thanks to our rapid 3D printing system, we can dispatch the anatomical splint in a maximum of three working days. Faster delivery is possible if the immobilisation is urgent. We also install 3D printing systems in hospitals that wish to offer our anatomical splints directly to their patients.

Sustainable technology

Waste-free printing, no production waste, biodegradable material: the Swibrace approach is designed to be sustainable, quite simply.

Product information
I had to have my wrist immobilized three weeks before leaving for a sunny holiday. Thanks to Swibrace, I was able to enjoy my vacation and swim without any issues, which would not have been possible with a traditional splint or cast. The brace is very comfortable because it is custom-made for my wrist, as well as hygienic, aesthetic, and ergonomic. It is so discreet that I almost forget my wrist is immobilized!
